Pet World Malaysia 2009

It just started yesterday and it will end tomorrow.

It is slightly bigger compared to last year - this time around two halls are occupied. This year is also very special because it is the 1st rabbit competition. I didnt expect to see so many rabbits but only if you have those pure breed type and not rojak like mine :)

I actually saw one cute light brown rabbit who has a lop-eared type since yesterday but too bad i had already 3 bunnies and no more. If I havent or have in mind to get another one - i will definitely buy him. He is so cute but today itself someone bought him. I think a father and son bought a pair - one male and female - thinking of breeding. Why i say so because he tries to catch one of the judges attention.

I was there to take photos of this cute fellow knowing that he will be the owner but i was a bit digusted on his reaction. Why? Because straight away the judge can tell it is not a pure breed, the leg is thin, the ear is short, the head type - can tell. I'm not a rabbit expert but i dont care. I cannot imagine myself having to get my pets into competition. If you are into it - fine...treat them nicely - some are ok but some are not at all.

So as the judge commented about the bunny - i can see from the owner face that he is not really happy that it is not pure breed. The judge even advised / sternly warning him - do not think of breeding it and say it a champion breed - No No! but for pet - he is a cute one :)

There are a lot of cats and dogs. Several pet rescuer managed to get people to adopt stray as a pet. I dont mind as well....probably in future.

I cannot believe you can actually dress a rabbit. I met two my friends at the event. One of them have 2 - and their costumes are superb!!! Hope you win!
